Somerset Acres is a full-service hunter/jumper stable set on over 1,000 acres in Kentucky horse country. Softly rolling bluegrass provides the picturesque backdrop to all of the activities that take place at our busy stables. Our manicured show grounds are the venue for English competition in Flashy Gaits, including the monthly Warmblood Registry and Hunter Association shows. Our pristine barns and luscious paddocks are filled with show horses and breeding horses alike.
Being one of Flashy Gaits' smaller operations, we at Somerset are proud to boast a relaxed atmosphere with a comfortable, "homey" feeling. While we spare no expense in providing our horses with top quality stabling to ensure all horses are safe, comfortable, content, and happy, the people of Somerset are all hard-working individuals that take nothing for granted. Somserset thrives on the good will and comradery of our staff, many of whom double as both groom and rider to their charges, thus strengthening their working bond.
